How to Make Sour Cream Topping

This is a simple topping typically used for cheesecake. My mom always put it on her cheesecakes and I have adopted it for use on many different recipes. I like to use it on Cheese Tarts, Cheesecake, or over fresh berries at breakfast.

Step 4: Mix the ingredients together well with the electric mixer.

NOTE: Allow the mixture to sit for about 3 minutes and then mix again with the electric mixer. This provides time for the sugar to dissolve in the mixture.

Step 5: Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour and then use as a topping on Cheese Tarts, Cheesecake, or over fresh fruit such as raspberries and blueberries.
